About Us

Our company was established in the early 1900’s as McNeil Drug. In 1918, we became Sterling Drug. At first, Clarence Davis joined the team as a store clerk and soda jerk, and was soon promoted to a pharmacist. He and a few others bought out in 1956 and incorporated the pharmacy, and it has been in the Davis family ever since. Clarence soon bought the whole company, becoming the sole owner. In 1971, Clarence’s son, Gary Davis, joined the company as a pharmacist and co-owner. In 1985 he bought it from his father, and for the past 32 years he has served Prairie Grove as a chief pharmacist.

At Sterling Drug Co., you will be welcomed with a smile and you will always come first, so that you can have the best quality of life possible!
